Above the elbow and below the collar is a good rule when you鈥檙e just entering the employee job market. It not just getting the job its later too if a company head discovers your secretly covered in tattoos or you join the company softball team. There opinion may and general will change and it may affect future advancements it can help or hurt depending on their reaction to your chosen images.


Most Company鈥檚 seek employees that can represent their companies public image, several individuals I know worked for major corporations everything was fine until one day a co worker discovered their secret tattoo, then telling other co workers, both of these persons were fired for violating company image policies which they signed when they were employed.


On appeal the termination was up held because it was said that a individual in management continues to represent the overall companies image even while in their off hours.


I am a tattoo artist who also has worked for major corporations during the 80鈥檚 and was very careful not to expose my tattoo side of life, I have a rule when it comes to money never give them a reason to say no.
