What are some cons for hunting deer?

i know what your thinking another PETA person no i love hunting.

I have to write an essay for effective writing for Pros and Cons of deer hunting if you can help me that would be amazingWhat are some cons for hunting deer?
I am a proud member of peta. The money and time spent on deer hunting could easily allow most people to just to the grocery store and buy the same amount of meat. People disrupt their sleep patterns to get out in the field early.

A few pros, if you take a kid on his.her hunt first successful hunt you bond in a special way. You get to teach the kid responsibility and how to field dress and animal.

Yes, I am a member of peta... People Eating Tasty Animals. What are some cons for hunting deer?
I had to think about it for a while, but these are the only negatives I could come up with:

1) The desire to have the best guns and equipment can cause you to spend more money than you probably should.

2) Anticipation of your next hunting trip can lead to daydreaming, and a resultant bit of trouble in school, at work, etc.

3) Time away from your family can cause alienation of affection (my wife told me to put that one in)

Actually most of the ';cons'; that the peta people come up with aren't necessarily about hunting, but about poaching. Things like shooting too many animals, shooting out of season, and shooting non-game animals are examples of poaching. If the idiots at peta would listen to real hunters, they'd realize that we hate those guys just as much.
Well I would say the cons are the money it costs due to all of that scent remover, camoflauge, guns and ammo. Umm, then theres the time it takes away from your week(even if your having fun), because hunting takes a long time. Then last theres the common uncomfortable conditions like if you hunt in the North, it gets very cold in the winter and if it rains and you don't have something over your head, you're screwed. But thats all I can think of, everything else with hunting is a pro.
Anthony that was hilarious LMAO I can hardly type I am laughing so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh I really cannot think of any that aren't applicable to hikers and other outdoors people as well. Things such as trail erosion and destruction , litter and the like. But in all honesty hunters are more concerned about leaving no trace so even those are minimized. I suppose the only con I can think of might be the occasional moron who doesn't hunt safely and shoots somebody but in all honesty the cons are all towards illegal hunting, aka poaching. And no law will stop them only annoy legal hunters who most of the time call those idiots in anyway.
Honestly, I can't think of any

Pros:

Hunting deer results in better survival rates for other deer, and actually keeps others from starving and such.

Helps prevent car-deer collisions.

Gets you food.

Helps the economy when people buy ammo and guns made in the USA.

Provides countless hours of fun and bonding with your kid/friends.

Gets kids outside and off their asses.

Can involve lots of exercise.

Every time you go out to hunt, you make another peta tool angry.

Cons:

Hm. Can be expensive.

There is a 1 in a billion chance you might die in a hunting accident.

I'll edit if I think of something else.
The little bambi screaming for its momma, all the freakin' blood and guts! ran out of beer! too drunk and shot your truck! Forgot to take your gun with you when you went to take a dump and had a four point stand up in front of you at 25 yards! Having freakin' liberal hikers call you Rambo! and Ooooh big man!...Having a blasted game dept. official step out from behind a bush while driving down the dirt road with a loaded rifle and a beer between your legs!... and on and on it goes!
cons

-pissed off girlfriend/wife at home waiting for you

that's all i can think of.

deer hunting has no real cons, its when you get into deer poaching, and over hunting when you run into cons.

but if you do everything by the law, there's no real cons.
while i do approve of hunting my neighbor did get a bullet through his window and into his couch because a deer hunter did not follow the laws in place (he didn't use a stand) and he/she missed. luckily my neighbor is ok but had it been a short time before he would have been shot.
Spending too much time in the woods makes the wife mad if you make her a ';hunter widow'; each year. However, without spending the time in the woods to relieve my stress makes her not want to be around me. You have to find the right balance, but until then, one or the other is unhappy.
con/s:

- running out of tags for deer

- running out of ammo

- can't get off from school/work to go hunting

- harder to find places to hunt that everyone doesn't go to

- more coyotes (well, at least for me)

but there are WAY WAY more pros :)
* Just knowing that No Deer Ever Dies of Old Age, they Die a Slow, Painful, Lingering Death from Starvation because they can no longer Eat when they get to Old because their Teeth Deteriorate.*
the one con I can think of is rusing your shot and not making a fast kill. and yes, dont use CAPS for peta, unless your saying People Eating Tastey Animals, than please just spell it out.
There are none what so ever only positives both for the deer population and the hunters
1st don't capitalize peta
The only ';con'; I can think of is the way some states gouge non-resident hunters for license fees.
There aren't any.
the only cons to deer hunting is bag limits.
none but if u had to pick one i would say the cold.
being mistaken for one.
