The Axis is the Cadillac of arrows and the old aluminum arrows is the model T- well not that big a comparison.


I held off on the carbon arrows until 3 years ago. There is for me no comparison between the two- The carbon will out penetrate the aluminum arrow in tests that I had to conduct myself before I would believe it. Before the carbon I had to buy two dozen aluminum arrows to practice with before hunting season and another dozen to get me through hunting season - I shoot a lot and bend , ding and ruin a lot of arrows with the carbon I only had to buy one dozen to do both-practice and hunt with- this makes the carbon much cheaper in the long run ,
