Texas gun laws concerning hunting rifles?

what is the process i must go thru to get a hunting rifle in texas?

is it hard?Texas gun laws concerning hunting rifles?
Not hard at all. Here in the wonderful world of Texas, all you need to do is show the gun dealer a picture ID (like a driver's license) to prove you're over 18, let him call in for a background check, and pay the money. You should be on your way in five to ten minutes.Texas gun laws concerning hunting rifles?
as far as I know, there is no registration on guns in Texas. all you have to do is go to a sporting goods store, pawn shop, gun show, or your local classified ads for someone selling a gun. If the gun that you choose is owned by a private party found at a gun show or in the classifieds, give them the money, and walk away with the gun. If the gun is being sold by a federally licensed firearms dealer (sporting goods store, pawn shop, gun sales business at a gun show), you will have to fill out a form with really stupid questions like ';do you use illegal drugs'; and ';are you a fugitive from the law';. Then the dealer will call the FBI and have them do an instant background check, which usually takes at most 15 minutes, but usually more like 5-10. If you pass the background check, pay for the gun, and walk out the store. If you fail the background check, you will have to leave the gun and come back in a day or two. Although it is a rare occurrence, sometimes the system gets crossed up and confuses one person for someone else that shouldn't have a gun. They do a more involved check and determine if they got a false negative. If you pass after the more in depth check, the dealer will call you and you can come down and pick up the gun.
it is not hard especially when you live in TEXAS that's already a good thing. just make shure you are eighteen. Try living in california and buy a rifle. Even though you are the legal limit they always try to find ways to not sell you guns.
The hardest parts will be:

1. Deciding on which one you'll want to get.

2. Coming up with the money to pay for it.

Other than that, as long as you're at least 18 years old and have no felony convictions, you're in business.
Not hard at all. 18 or over and no felonies, fill out the form, they do an instant check and you are through in 5 minutes.
The first two are right.
