I need ask question about hunting?

I live in Va. and i need to know if i can hunt on Sun. on private property!I need ask question about hunting?
No it is against the lawI need ask question about hunting?
I have done a lot of research and their is absolutly no hunting on sundays in VA, sorry. It's a law put in place for the safety of all to enjoy the outdoors and be worry free of getting shot while outside. Whether you own your own private property or have permission to hunt on the land it is still illegal to hunt sundays. Their are a lot of people trying to pass a referendum to legalize sunday hunting but this has been a major controversy for a great many years, not to likely to change any time soon.

I think people should wear blaze orange if they want to be out on sundays and are afraid of getting hit by a bullet. Sunday hunting has no detrimental effect on wildlife populations. The 43 states that allow some form of Sunday hunting have healthy wildlife populations in those areas that can sustain them. In fact the states with the most abundant game populations allow Sunday hunting. Those states that have recently removed prohibitions on Sunday hunting have not seen a negative impact on game populations. Allowing Sunday hunting would give state wildlife agencies more flexibility in managing populations. The extra day a week for hunting would give the agencies the ability to increase hunting in areas of overpopulation by encouraging hunters to go afield. So I hope that someday you will be able to hunt like the rest of the 43 other states on sunday! Good luck in the future!!
No, not legally, unless you have a late Saturday night 'coon hunt that runs over a couple of hours.

Hunting on Sunday in Virginia is unlawful, except on licensed shooting preserves. Raccoon hunters may hunt until 2 a.m. Sunday mornings. These rules apply to both private and public land. The regulation can be found on page 17 of “Hunting %26amp; Trapping in Virginia” booklet available at license agents.

However, many people ignore this rule, and there are efforts to overturn it. If it were me, I'd hunt and risk getting caught. If I got caught, I'd fight the law as a violation of the separation of church and state.

Just because one religion chooses to have their sabbath on a Sunday is no reason to pass laws.
No, you can't hunt on Sundays in Va. You can hunt every other day, but not on Sunday. Its stupid, but that's where it stands for now. Maybe one day a group will stand up to these unfair, and not so cultural laws for those of us, that wish to hunt on Sundays. Who knows maybe your the one to start it. It simply isn't fair to us hunters!
Depends on what your hunting.
